Art Pharmacy and NYC ACS

Art Pharmacy has expanded its innovative social prescribing program to New York City through a partnership with the Administration for Children's Services (ACS), focusing on supporting youth in and aging out of foster care across all five boroughs. This initiative connects young people to personalized arts and cultural experiences—such as creative workshops, performances, and museum visits—to enhance mental health, build resilience, and reduce social isolation. By integrating non-clinical, community-based interventions into care plans, the program aims to provide holistic support for some of NYC's most vulnerable youth.
