Art Pharmacy and University of Arizona

Art Pharmacy has partnered with the University of Arizona to launch a social prescribing initiative aimed at enhancing student mental health through personalized arts and cultural experiences. Starting in fall 2025, students referred by Counseling & Psych Services will collaborate with care navigators to receive tailored “doses” such as workshops, performances, or museum visits – offered at no cost to the student or a guest. This three-year partnership, led by Arizona Arts and supported by campus partners including the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and Campus Health, positions the university as the first in the Southwest to integrate arts-based wellness into its student support services.
